Job Description:

We’re seeking an Inbound Sales Representative with a knack for closing deals and a passion for customer service. You’ll manage inbound leads, meet with customers at their homes to create quotes and help us redefine the residential painting sales process.

What’s an average day like? You will be taking on 10-20 new warm inbound leads and have 20-40 outbound follow-ups with people you’ve previously spoken with. Our customers are mostly homeowners with some larger-scale commercial opportunities available each quarter. Your priority will be to fill your schedule with the highest-value leads for in-person appointments each week. We are a remote-first company so you will be working from home some days and performing in-person visits at customers’ homes most other days.

No prior painting experience is required. Training on painting and our sales process is provided in the first month, with ongoing training conducted throughout the year.

Responsibilities:

  • Take on inbound sales opportunities and close deals efficiently.
  • Meet with customers at their homes or businesses to estimate the cost of jobs and services.
  • Use our sales estimating calculator to provide accurate estimates.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Follow up with all work not closed on the spot.
  • Provide an extraordinary customer experience.
  • Perform field visits to ensure high-quality work and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Sales experience in the residential paint industry (or similar home improvement verticals) is preferred but not required.
  • Has a successful track record of phone or in-person sales and is a closer.
  • Strong computer and software skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and be punctual.
  • Has a competitive spirit, without compromising the team or customer experience.
  • Must be comfortable with a dynamic startup environment that pushes you to continually innovate.
  • Discipline and strong accountability to maintain high standards for metrics, call quality, and structure.
